The 2009 show, held at
the Three Counties Showground, attracted an entry of 1416 dogs making 1899 entries. The weather conditions were, to say
the least, testing with some very heavy thundery showers forcing some judging into the indoor wet weather rings. However,
the patience and support of exhibitors was once again evident and the Society sincerely thanks everyone for their support.
Best in Show Judge Mr J Chorley (Lochrey) awarded Best in Show to Wort's Bernese Mountain Dog "Shirdees Mr Jingles
at Glorybern", RBIS to Hunt's Miniature Smooth Haired Dachshund "Ch Carpaccio Royal Parade JW", BPIS
to Ferber's Border Collie "Rossbrook Chasing Shadows" and RBPIS to Evans' Dobermann "Amazon Kandy Kisses".

As we did in 2008, we again took the opportunity to take
a few snaps around the showground which will hopefully provide a feel for the atmosphere and pleasant surroundings of
our show.

The 2008
show saw Best in Show Judge, Mr Bryan Dyson (Blison) award the top honours out
of an excellent entry of 1,447 dogs making 2,044 entries and an average of 4.5 per class (excluding Junior Handling).
Best in Show was awarded to Mr & Mrs J S Dyer with German Spitz (Klein) (bitch) "Ch
Wychlea The Duchess", Reserve Best in Show to Mr Presland & Miss Vincent with Miniature Bull Terrier (dog) "Ch
Ir Ch Badlesmere Brabazon in Kofyn", Best Puppy in Show to D Cawthera's Pomeranian (bitch) "Lireva's Miss
Tickle", and Reserve Best Puppy in Show to Mr P & Mrs C A Sandiford's Gordon Setter (dog) "Hernwood Diamond
Rock".

The Evesham committee had to cope with a day of continuous rain for their 2007 Open
Show at the Three Counties Showground. Fortunately the Wye Hall is hired for just this contingency but we were unable to gain
access until the morning of the show, so it was a considerable rush to set up the indoor rings with all of the necessary equipment
to be ready on time. Just to add to our difficulties, the tannoy system had not been set up in the Wye Hall as we had arranged.
Thankfully almost all exhibitors were sympathetic with our problems and there were plenty afterwards who said how much they
had enjoyed the show.
